OSSC Admit Card 2015 for Junior Clerk

Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is going to issue admit card for the concerned applicants for 417 available posts of Junior Clerk and Junior Assistant (288 posts for Junior Clerk and 129 posts for Junior Assistant) who completed registration process in response to the recruitment advertisement published by the Commission few months ago. In the application time span, huge number of applicants completed registration and the Commission will conduct written test as part of the selection process along with skill test. The written examination will be taken on 27th December and the Commission is likely to issue OSSC Clerk Admit Card 2015 at least 7 to 15 days before the test.

The exam will be preliminary type and those who will get selected in this test will be eligible for main exam. Full mark of the preliminary exam is 100 and full mark for main exam is 400. Preliminary test will be conducted on General Awareness and will be of qualifying nature. Duration of the exam will be 1 hour 30 minutes. Main exam will be taken on five separate papers:

    Paper I: Language test in English (50 marks)

    Paper II: Language test in Odia (50 marks)

    Paper III: General Knowledge (100 marks)

    Paper IV: Mathematics (100 marks)

    Paper V: Computer Knowledge (100 marks)

OSSC Junior Clerk Preliminary Syllabus

In the Preliminary exam, questions will be set on the following topics : General Awareness, Current Events, History, Geography, General Science, Constitution of India, Human rights, Basics of Computer, English, Odia, Arithmetic etc.

It is expected that there will be tough competition among the candidates. So, they should take good preparation based on the exam pattern and prescribed syllabus and the preliminary test is the first phase and key to move further in the selection process. So, applicants should give due importance to this test.
