Kolkata Police Constable Salary & Selection Process
Selection process to select the right candidate for this
recruitment is based on Physical Efficiency test, Physical Measurement test,
written examination and Medical Examination. According to these four process
aspirants are selected. At first candidate will go through the Physical
Efficiency test. Only the qualified candidate from the PET will go through the
physical standard test. After the completion of this test applicant are called
for written examination and Medical Test. Finally the candidate selected for
Constable Post will be given a Salary of Rs.5400/- to Rs. 25200/- as pay Band-2
with Grade pay of Rs.2600/- per month.
Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment Application Fees
Candidates coming under General category; applying for
Recruitment must have to pay Rs. 150/- as Application Fees. Applicants coming
under SC, ST are exempted from the payment of Application Fees. Candidate
should pay fees through on-line payment gateway (Bill Desk) by using Debit
Cards / Credit Cards / Net-Banking of any Bank. An amount of Rs. 5/- (Rupees
five) only will be charged by the agency concerned (Bill Desk) as “Service
Charge” for availing Debit Cards / Credit Cards / Net-Banking facility.

Constable test will be issued soon after the registration process. It is
advised to the applicants that they complete the registration within the given
